I don’t think anyone saw this set coming, though if you think about it, it was a fairly obvious move. Hasbro revealed yesterday that they will be releasing, as an Amazon exclusive, a box set featuring Thanos and his kids. These figures have all been previously released, but Hasbro has updated the sculpts and given them new accessories.

Normally, the movie figures we get are based on early renders and designs of the characters that are different from the final look. This happens because they want the product on shelves roughly around the same time as the release to help drive sales. That’s why the BAF of Cull Obsidian looks so different to what we saw in Infinity War. This new set updates the characters with the final looks from the film.

The real highlight of this set are the updates to Cull Obsidian. The previous version was basically him naked with a few armor pieces here and there. The only way they could have made it better would have been to add a cybernetic arm. Still, we are getting a whole new torso, legs, weapon and face deco.
