I almost completely missed the G2 era of Transformers. The only portion I remember is the rerelease of the original series with the animatronic Optimus and the little kid. I never saw any of the toys on the shelves, but I also was more into TMNT around that time. If I had looked, I would have seen lots of repaints. That is what G2 mostly was. But not everything made it back on shelves. Some were designed, but never released. That is the case with the G2 Stunticons.

To my knowledge, the only one that saw any kind of release was Breakdown. Recently, the Legacy line saw the release of 3 of the G2 color Stunticons. Now Hasbro has decided to release all 5 as a complete set.

I never finished the original set, so this release is intriguing, but i would prefer a rerelease of Motormaster. It is the only one I missed. The set does look good, but I’m not going to spend 280 plus tax to get 1 figure. But for anyone who missed out on the original set, this is a good opportunity to gwt another combiner. I’ll wait for the eventual rerun of Motormaster.
