With the revival of G.I. Joe coming soon and MOTU Origins coming later this year, it seems the 80’s are making another comeback. But it’s not really a comeback without the original Transformers. Transformers has been a pretty steady presence on pegs with the line being reinvented every year or so to keep it fresh. The one thing they have never done with the line however, is release a six inch, articulated, non-transformable figure. Until now.
First revealed on IGN, the new R.E.D. line, features screen accurate styling of the Transformers, without being able to transform. The idea itself is not new, as their have been premium non-transforming figures released before, but never in this scale and certainly not for twenty bucks a pop.
