The new Disney+ series, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, is off to a great start. The series is really fleshing out the characters of Sam and Bucky and introducing some new additions to the MCU. One of these new additions is the introduction of the new Captain America, John Walker.

In the comics, Walker gains enhanced strength from the Power Broker. In the show, Walker isn’t altered and is just in peak physical condition, but he seems to be very proficient with the shield.

This new figure looks like it reuses the lower portion of previous Cap figures, but gives us a brand new torso and head sculpt.

I’m not a fan of MCU figures, but this has a collectible appeal to it. It’s the first, revealed, Captain America figure that isn’t based on Chris Evan’s. For that fact alone may make it worth a purchase. I do feel they should have just released this in a two-pack with Battlestar.

If you were paying attention, you may have glimpsed this packaging being autographed by Walker in the opening minutes of episode 2. The only difference is the addition of the sticker stating the name of the series.
