Hasbro Reveals New Venom Wave For Fan First Tuesday

The first Venom wave was difficult to find. I think I only saw the full wave once at retail, but I only bought one initially, Typhoid Mary. I picked up Spider-Ham during a Black Friday sale from Megalopolis. I randomly found Scream at Walgreens long after the wave dried up at retail. I didn’t see a need to get Carnage or Venom because I already had them and I figured I could get the rest on ebay. This time though, I plan to get the full wave. These symbiotes are just too cool to pass on this time. Especially the BAF.

I was beginning to get bored with Deadpool figures before I saw this BAF. The sculpt is really unique and will look great next to my deluxe Venom.

We have been long overdue for an update for Carnage. The Mark Bagley version is classic, but Carnage hasn’t looked like that in the comics for quite some time. This isn’t even the most recent version of Carnage, but it does have the Knull symbol on the forehead, so this is a must buy.

I didn’t care for this version of the character when she first got her symbiote, but it looks kind of cool in figure form. That tongue looks like it may get warped eventually.

This was revealed along with the Spider-gwen Symbiote figure earlier this year at Toy Fair. It was thought that it was going to be Walmart exclusive, but it turns out just the Venomized Captain America is. This figure depicts Miles after he was infected by Carnage with a piece of his symbiote.

I am unfamiliar with this iteration of Morbius. When I first saw these official images, I thought it was based on the upcoming Morbius film. I will have to look up some comics with this version.

With the acquisition of the Fox films by Disney, Hasbro has been able to use the versions of these characters that were for the most part unavailable to them. I say for the most part because there was the Amazing Spider-Man figure from the Ultimate Green Goblin Wave. I wasn’t to interested in this figure when I first saw images of it, but it has grown on me the more I look at it.

I can’t recall if this is one of the Life Foundation symbiotes, but it will probably be the hottest figure of the wave.

This is a great wave. If there is a weak figure, it’s probably Venom-gwen. And it’s not a bad looking figure. That tongue just looks like it may be an issue. This wave is now up for pre-order online at places like HasbroPulse and Entertainment Earth.
