It’s almost time for the event every figure collector and comic fan is waiting for, the San Diego Comic-Con! Besides thousands of fans descending on the convention to buy comics and see the cosplayers, it is where toy companies show off their upcoming products for the year and offer exclusive merchandise you can only get there. Diamond Select Toys is showing us a preview of what they will be offering. Check out the images below.
This Catwoman statue has actual diamonds in it! $200.00 is almost a steal.I really like the PVC statues from Diamond, but with my dollars stretched over so many brands it’s hard to find money to get them. I may have to take the plunge on this one though. Laura will go for $45 at the convention.Last year Diamond had a Dark Phoenix PVC that eventually made it’s way to Gamestop stores. This will cost $45.00 at the convention.This large Grey Hulk will go for $45.00 at ty he convention. I don’t care for the face sculpt, but it doesn’t look terrible.To mark the 80th anniversary of Superman Diamond has a two-pack of the Man of Steel in his modern and first appearance looks in the Vinimates style. They are basically mini statues. This set will go for $20.00.Rounding out their offerings is a cloaked Romulan Bird of Brey. The ship is cast in a clear plastic, but keeps the bird logo prominent. $70.00 at the convention.
Most of these will make their way to retail in some way. The masked version of the Wolverine(Laura Kinney) is available not at Entertainment Earth but they have limited stock.
