Transformers: The Last Knight Premier Edition deluxe figures!

on

The new Transformers movie is right around the corner and it looks to be one of the best in the series. I really want to see what makes Optimus “break bad”. The first wave of The Last Knight figures have been in stores for a little while and now Hasbro is revealing the next crop of figures we will be seeing.

Hot Rod - RobotLet’s start with one of my all time favorite bots, Hot Rod! In general I’m not a fan of movie related figures. Nostalgia for the characters that captivated you as a child can sometimes blind you to the innovative new designs a new perspective can bring while still retaining the essence of the character.

Hot Rod - CarHot Rod transforms into a Lamborghini Centenario. The bot mode looks great, but this vehicle mode is where it really shines! This is a spectacular figure. The only downside? He’s exclusive to Walmart. Yeah, that’s going to be a pain but I’m sure you’ll be able to get him on HasbroToyShop.com at some point.

Cogman - RobotNext up is one of the more interesting new bots, Cogman. In the movie he will serve as the butler for Anthony Hopkins character and is human sized. Neat! He is also a Headmaster and like the Titans Return figures will have a head that can be removed.

Cogman - CarCogman will transform into a car licensed by Aston Martin. This is another gorgeous alt mode that makes me wonder if anyone will be displaying him bot mode.

Skullitron - RobotNow on to one of the Knights of Cybertron, Skullitron. This guy looks pretty cool, though I am underwhelmed by the paint job.

Skullitron - DragonHe transforms into a dragon that looks okay. It’s not bad, it just doesn’t look all that great to me. Maybe it’s the arms. He will be a Toys ‘R Us exclusive along with…

Megatron - RobotMegatron! I like this figure. I liked it more the first time I bought it, but it’s a nice repaint. They added some glyphs on the cannon.

Megatron - JetThis mold looks a lot better in these colors. Megatron and Skullitron are billed as a Mission to Cybertron figures and feature glyphs that can be decoded at transformers.com/MissionToCybertron.

All of these figures will retail for $19.99. What do you think of these figures? Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts. Check back later for more Transformers The Last Knight images.

Transformers: The Last Knight will be in theaters June 21st.
