Are there Marvel Legends waves you haven’t completed? If you’re like me, you don’t get every figure from every wave released throughout the year because there are just so many waves. Luckily, Hasbro has been in the habit lately of rereleasing BAF’S as deluxe releases. That’s the case with this “new” Retro carded Kingpin figure.

This is largely the same figure as before with a few changes to make it resemble the Animated Series Kingpin. Instead of a shirt and tie, this version has an ascot. The colors are also more cartoonish with the purple pants and orange vest. Also setting this figure apart from the BAF is the additional battle damaged head. That is most likely for your old BAF. In an old issue of Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man broke into the Raft, and beat Kingpin down for nearly killing Aunt May.

This figure is now up for preorder on Entertainment Earth and other fan Channel sites. Like most deluxe releases, it will retail for around 29.99. Don’t wait too long though. This one may end up being as hard to find as the BAF for a reasonable price.
