This past weekend, Hasbro was in Mexico revealing new figures for an upcoming wave of Spider-Man Legends.
This was unexpected! Doctor Octopus has gone through a lot of change under Dan Slott. This figure represents the culmination of a few years of great character development for Otto Octavius, transforming him from one of Spidey’s greatest enemies to a sometime ally. This figure looks great.
White Rabbit is a character who has been around for a long time, but has never risen to be more than just a filler character. While this is an interesting entry in the Legends line, I feel this may end up being a pegwarmer like Gwenpool and Spider-woman.
With the reveal of the two figures we now have a good idea of what this wave will be. The others revealed during SDCC; Shang-chi, Vulture, and the two suits from the Spider-Man PS4 game will round out the wave.
We have yet to see the BAF, but it will probably be revealed at one of the upcoming conventions Hasbro will be on hand at. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
