Earlier this year during Toy Fair, Hasbro revealed the first figure in the their relaunch of the G.I. Joe franchise, Snake Eyes. This was a deluxe release that was available only on HasbroPulse. With a character as popular as Snake Eyes there was no way Hasbro wasn’t going to do a regular retail release as well. Yesterday Hasbro sent out images of the retail release version.

The retail release is the same mold as the deluxe with a different deco and considerably less in the box.

While the deluxe release is nice, I don’t need that many weapons accessories. After taking my figures out of packaging I may display with their primary weapon for a little while before returning them to their packaging for display. So, this retail version is the one I and I’m sure many others will be getting.

This figure is now up for individual preorder, though if you preordered the entire first wave you will already be getting him. Like the rest, expect him to start hitting pegs this summer.
