In the 80’s G.I. Joe was big. Not in terms of scale, they were 3.75″ figures, but in terms of their popularity. Past the 80’s though the line waned. Eventually, Hasbro stopped producing new figures and for some time the line lay dormant. Until now. Hasbro has revealed a new line of figures, in a 6 inch scale.
Just prior to Toy Fair, Hasbro put up for preorder a brand new Snake Eyes figure with a plethora of weapons, a weapons rack and exclusive artwork in a premium looking box.
This release of Snake Eyes is exclusive to Hasbro Pulse and comes in exclusive packaging for Hasbro Pulse, featuring foil effects and original artwork from Tracie Ching and Miq Willmott. It is up for preorder now for $39.99.

Overall, these look pretty good. The faces are somewhat reminiscent of Fortnite, but maybe they will improve with time. Also, no villains in the first wave? Strange. In any case, it’s great to see G.I. Joe making a comeback. Look for for these to hit stores June 1st.
