Mcfarlane Toys Unveils Their New Line Of DC Multiverse Figures

When Mattel lost the DC license to Spinmaster, we all wondered what they would do with it. They didn’t have any other high profile lines that collectors would automatically assign quality to like Hasbro has with Legends, Black Series and more recently Overwatch Ultimates and Lightning Collection. Then we received news that Mcfarlane Toys was granted a license to make figures as well.

Mcfarlane Toys has been around for a while and has put out a lot of high quality products starting with Todd Mcfarlane’s Spawn and other Image Comic properties. So, that being said, Mcfarlane Toys getting to use the license is a great thing. And now that we have images of the upcoming line, I can say it is an awesome thing!

Batman: Hellbat Suit

  • Batman (Hellbat Suit) figure is based on the DC comic book series Batman and Robin
  • Batman (Hellbat Suit) features articulated posable wings that can extend the figure height to 9 inches tall and 14 inches wide (some assembly required)

Superman: Unchained Armor

  • Superman Unchained figure is based on the DC comic book series of the same name
  • Superman features rotating posable wings that can extend the figure height to 9 inches tall and 10 inches wide (some assembly required)

These look amazing! Definite must haves for me and I’m sure many more collectors.

Batman: Batman the Animated Series

  • Batman figure is based on the iconic style of Batman the Animated Series
  • Batman’s accessories include a Grapnel Launcher and Batarang

Superman: Superman the Animated Series

  • Superman figure is based on the iconic style of Superman the Animated Series
  • Superman’s accessories include a piece of bent steel
  • Includes bonus pair of alternate fists

Green Lantern: Justice League

  • Green Lantern figure is based on the iconic style of Justice League Animated Series Green Lantern’s accessories include a Lantern Willpower Projection Blaster, headset, and visor

Articulated Bruce Timm style actions figures? Yes please!

I didn’t think Mcfarlane Toys would a Build-A-anything, but there it is. A build-a-batmobile. Not to scale, but it’s something. I’m more interested in the figures themselves, especially since they are also giving us a scale Bat-Raptor.

Amazing! It took years for Hasbro to give us vehicles, and even then only two-wheeled vehicles mostly. Another must buy.

I really hope these all show up on shelves at Walmart and Target. I want everything Mcfarlane has shown off and now the only problem is finding shelf and wall space in my collection room.

Everything you have seen is now up for preorder at Gamestop, Entertainment Earth and wherever else you can preorder stuff like this. Hopefully this line will have a long life because it looks amazing.
