The relaunch of the X-men has been great so far. House of & Powers of X set a new foundation for the X-men franchise giving the Mutants new life. In some cases quite literally. Marauders #1 features the reappearance of a long dead mutant named Pyro. Pyro died of the Legacy Virus way back in Cable #87(vol.2) after saving Senator Kelly from an assassination attempt.

This panel highlights something I have always wanted to see in an X-men comic, all Mutants working together for a common goal. In the case of the Marauders book, it’s helping Mutants who are being blocked from the Krakoa gates make it to the Mutant homeland.

It a great concept for a book and addresses the fact that there will be people and governments resistant against these people making a better way for themselves. I will definitely be adding this book to my must read list. You should check it out.
