I’m so excited to finally have this! When he was announced last year, I knew immediately I wanted it and that I did not want to wait. Well, the wait is over and it was worth it. I didn’t even wait until I got home to crack it open.
The chair is fairly simple to assemble. You put the two halves of the chair together, put the back and seat cushions in place, slide in the hover effect and you got yourself a hoverchair!
The chair is molded in a gold plastic that doesn’t quite look like metal but is close enough. A bit of marbling in the plastic gives the illusion of metal as well.
The Professor is the same Chameleon body mold that we have received several times now. They did give us new hands, so that’s a plus. It would have been cool if we got Xavier in the suit he wore to Asteroid M, but this suit makes sense for a 90’s X-men display as well an Illuminati display with Black Bolt, Namor, Dr. Strange and Mister Fantastic.
He comes with the Cerebro helmet that is very well done. It also comes with an effects piece representing his mental power signature.
Professor X is showing up in stores now, and can be purchased online as well. This is one release you do not want to pass on.
