I finally took the plunge with the Siege: War for Cybertron line. The images I have seen have looked great, but I was hesitant to get any after being disappointed by Power of the Primes. I did not need to worry because if Starscream is any indication, Siege will be even better than my favorite recent line, Titans Return.

I love the robot mode for Starscream! It is perfectly G1. It reminds me of the original cartoon where Starscream and the other seekers had their Tetra jet modes, but had the F1 jet cockpit chest.

I really like that they gave him ankle articulation. It helps to pose him better and the feet are reminiscent of the Masterpiece seeker mold. The only downside is the faux chest, but it only is an issue with the jet mode.

The Tetra jet mode looks okay, but there is a lot robot kibble underneath. Like, you can see his legs very clearly.

Despite this, I actually like the jet mode. Prior to this, the closest we have ever received to a true Cybertronian mode was the Fall of Cybertron version from the High Moon video game.

I will be keeping Starscream in robot mode for the most part as this is where he truly shines. Starscream is part of the second wave of voyagers along with Soundwave. I will not be getting Soundwave because I have the Masterpiece version and i would never display it out of package. They are hitting store shelves now. You can also order them on Entertainment Earth.
