Today over on io9.com, Hasbro has revealed a SDCC exclusive set based on the Doctor Aphra comic. The comic follows the adventures of the doctor and her two droids as they search for artifacts in the Star Wars universe.The set features Doctor Aphra and her two homicidal droids. I think they missed an opportunity here not including the Wookie character, but it’s cool nonetheless to see these three being made.

Aphra and BT-1 both come with weapons, while 0-0-0 features none. I love that BT-1’s weapons are so comically oversized.

The set will come in some cool vintage style packaging that you probably won’t want to open, so get two. Aphra will be released as a standalone figure later, but if you want the droids as well you will have to get this set. It will go for $50.00 at the convention and probably double that on the secondary market.
