It’s crazy to think that it’s only been three years since the Energon Universe began. It all started with Void Rivals, introducing us to Darak, Solila, and Handroid, with a cameo from Jetfire. That issue set the stage for a new interconnected Universe using the characters and locations from the classic properties of Transformers, G.I. Joe and soon the to be launched, M.A.S.K.
To celebrate, Skybound/Image is relying a series of covers that will reveal a huge image featuring just about every character we’ve met over the last three years.
There will be two versions for each comic release in June. A full color version for M.A.S.K., Transformers, G.I. Joe and Void Rivals and black and white versions of each.
The variants will be available for M.A.S.K. #1, TRANSFORMERS #33, G.I. JOE #23, and Void Rivals #31. With the full art piece featuring 82 iconic characters, including recent Energon Universe returning favorites M.A.S.K., V.E.N.O.M., Arcee Magnus, Crystal Ball, Storm Shadow, and Scarlett, this is a connecting cover set collectors do not want to miss.
