What a exciting two years this has been in the Transformers fandom! What began in Void Rivals with an appearance from Jetfire, Transformers has been non-stop action, great characterizations and spectacular art and typography. The 24th issue released last week to wrap up the Daniel Warren Johnson era and so much happened. I don’t want to spoil it, but you shouldn’t wait for the trade. Get this issue.

Next month the Robert Kirkman/Dan Mora era of Transformers begins. As he is the current writer of Void Rivals, he is the natural choice to take over for DWJ. I still have reservations about the new art direction, but I will give it a chance. It’s still Transformers.

To kick off the new era of Transformers, Skybound/Image will have 6 connecting incentive covers with art by Jorge Corona and Mike Spicer. They will also do a little bit of art in issue 25 to transition over to the new team. Check out these preview pages.

I’ve been primarily collecting the trades, but I will definitely be picking up these incentive covers. They look amazing and will look great mounted on the wall.
