Into The Spider-verse Legends Reveals

Friday had their livestream showing off the upcoming Into the Spider-verse wave of Marvel Legends. This will be the first time, I believe, that we will be getting a wave highlighted by characters from an animated property using the designs from the animation.

This version is much closer to how he appeared in the film. I like that they are giving this version with the jacket and hi-tops. We already got a version in the Target 2-pack with the regular costume deco.

This is basically the same Gwen figure we got before, but with a more screen accurate head sculpt. Since they were able to save on the design of this figure, they threw in a Spider-ham figure/accessory.

This is too good! Peter B. Parker. The only way they could have improved it is adding in a burger and fries accessories.

When I see a wave, i usually have one or two figures i have to get. If i get nothing else from this wave, I’m getting Prowler. I wish they would have included an unmasked head. That would really make this figure top tier.

The rest of the wave is rounded out with the debut of Frog Man and Hand Ninja. Both have been asked for by collectors for some time.

If you haven’t figured it out yet, or are unfamiliar with the character, the BAF will be another frequently requested character, Stilt-man.

I can’t recall if it was confirmed or not, but apparently if you army build the Hand Ninja, the Stilt-man legs won’t go to waste. You can pop the feet off and make him taller. This of course comes at the expense of knee joints.

Hasbro also revealed a new deluxe Classic Thanos figure.

This will be my third Marvel Legends Thanos figure. The first was the BAF, then the Walmart exclusive version and now this. This will stay in box. I may buy 2 because of the King Thanos head. That sculpt is from the Thanos Wins storyline in his self titled comic from a few years back. That story was also the debut of Cosmic Ghost Rider and the Fallen, a future version of Silver Surfer who wields Mjolnir. It’s already been announced that we will be getting The Fallen as a Walgreens exclusive.
