This Rogue figure was shown a while back at Toy Fair(?), but we didn’t know if it was coming in a wave or possibly as a Fan Channel exclusive. Hasbro has revealed that it will be coming in a two-pack with a classic Pyro figure. Anyone remember when everyone was asking why we weren’t getting a lot of love shown towards the X-men? This is turning out to be the year of the X-men.

The costume Rogue is wearing here is the one she wore during the X-men Legacy run.

This is one of my favorite X-men storylines. In it, Rogue, with help from Professor Xavier, finally gains control of her abilities. If you haven’t read this run, you should check it out. Just don’t confuse it with the second series of the same name. That one focused on Legion. Actually, that one was pretty good too. Read it.

Back to the figs, this is a nice set. I would rather have purchased them as single figures, especially since they seem to be charging extra just for being in a two-pack. 50 bucks may not seem like a lot, but with all the great stuff coming out, and with it being light on accessories, every dollar counts.

This set is up for preorder now on HasbroPulse, Entertainment Earth and other Fan Channel sites. So, this set should be much easier to preorder than the Storm/Thunderbird set.
