I’m kind of excited to have Chromia in my collection now. She is my first fembot. This is her second mass release in the Generations line. The last was part of the Thrilling 30 wave of figures. I have been meaning to pick that figure up because I like having the motorcycle Transformers.
Chromia uses a mold similar to the one seen used for Novastar and Moonracer, minus the combiner port. The feet are much better on this figure though. This line as a whole has good foot articulation.
The vehicle mode is decent. Again the vehicle mode is similar to Novastar and Moonracer, but she doesn’t have the grill. That’s probably because of the combiner port that was used previously.
The Siege line figures have some weathered deco on them, but Chromia doesn’t have much. Just a bit on the front of the vehicle mode. It’s not very visible in robot mode though which is a shame. It would have given her a slightly more premium look.
The hands are pretty visible from the back. It would have been nice if they paid for the extra piece of plastic to hide them in the back.
I’m really enjoying the Siege line. I believe Hasbro had Takara Tomy take the lead on design and it shows. Chromia is on sale now. I picked mine up at Walmart, but if you want you can head to Entertainment Earth to order yours now.
