I Need This SDCC Aquaman Set From Mattel

With Hasbro’s Marvel Legends offering for SDCC this year being so lackluster, it frees up money to be spent elsewhere. Luckily action figure fans have something to look forward to.

First shown on the Hollywood Reporter, Mattel is releasing an Aquaman centric set featuring the hero and two of his greatest enemies, Black Manta and Ocean Master in a recreation of the cover of Aquaman(1962) #35.

The set, retailing for $60, looks to be using the DC Essentials figures of Aquaman and Black Manta with classic color schemes. They will come with interchangeable hands and weapons. The box will feature classic artwork from the issue the set is based on. Keep an eye on Ebay if you are unable to attend the show.
