Have you ever walked in a store to get one thing, didn’t see it and ended up buying something else completely unrelated? Yeah, this happened to me when I went into a Gamestop last week. I went in looking for a cheap game and ended up walking out with one of the most expensive non-transforming collectibles I have ever purchased, the life size Infinity Gauntlet replica from Hasbro.

This thing is massive. I mean, if it was a real gauntlet, I wouldn’t be able to wear it comfortably. The gauntlet uses a series of pulleys to articulate the fingers with a bar where the wrist is to hold while you pull.

The Infinity Gauntlet features lights and sounds to help you really feel you are wielding the strongest weapon in the Marvel Universe. Each stone lights up and pulses slightly to give the effect the power is surging. These can be activated by pressing the Mind Stone or flexing the fingers.

The fingers make a metallic sound when you flex the fingers to make the all plastic glove sound like it is made of metal. The fingers can be locked into place by pushing down on a switch to allow for display options. While it is all plastic, the paint job gives it a nice worn metal look that will look great in any display.

I am quite pleased with my purchase. The only real downside is that pulling the rings in the gauntlet to articulate the fingers can irritate the fingers just a bit, which may be a problem  for some.
