Every now and then, a comic artist comes along with a style that is so fresh that you wonder why it took so long for them to get attention. Esad Ribic is one of those artist. His work in THOR: GOD OF THUNDER is just awesome. If you haven’t read that run you are missing out.

Superstar artist Esad Ribić (Secret Wars, Uncanny X-Force) will make his creator-owned debut, teaming up with acclaimed writer Ivan Brandon (BLACK CLOUD, DRIFTER) for the darkly satirical sci-fi series VS this February from Image Comics. Painted colors from Nic Klein (DRIFTER) and design by Tom Muller round out the powerhouse creative team.

“Making VS is a dream,” said Ribić. “After all these years, it feels great to be able to create my own world and tech from scratch.”

“Working with Esad is mindblowing,” added Brandon. “I want to live in this world. Probably very briefly, as it’s incredibly dangerous.”
