Launching Sideshow Collectibles’ highly-anticipated Marvel Sixth Scale collection…“Here comes DEADPOOL!”
Armed to the teeth with guns, puns, and things that go boom, Sideshow’s fully articulated Deadpool Sixth Scale Figure is ready to break through any obstacle – especially the proverbial fourth wall.
Decked out in his iconic hand-tailored red and black costume, super-studly Wade Wilson comes with two handsome portraits and tons of goodies, including long and short stabbing weapons, two bitchin’ pistols, a Whoop Ass-ault rifle, and Big Boomin’ Balls. Famous for his over-the-top personality, Marvel’s Merc with a Mouth can fully express himself with multiple swap-out hand gestures and plug-in word bubble accessories, customizable with explicit thoughts and witty words.
From looking at the pictures, it seems like they thought of everything. The only gripe I have and depending on who you are, it could be major or minor, buuuuut…the head. It looks exactly like the Marvel Legends Deadpool head. It seems like Marvel may have just sent them the files for the head and they recreated it for their sixth scale figure. There is another head as well with more serious eyes, so that’s a plus. I kind of wish they continued the cloth look onto the head, but I can understand not doing that. It’s easier to mold in expression on plastic than it is on fabric.
Just as with the Darkseid figure, the email says preorder, but the site says buy now. You might want to hop on this one quickly if you are in the U.S.(sorry rest of the collecting world) because they are offering free shipping for a limited time.
