During SDCC last week, Hasbro had their Transformers panel revealing a bunch of new figures coming soon. One that instantly caught my eye is the upcoming Studio Series Ultra Magnus.

This isn’t just a straight up reuse of the Siege Ultra Magnus mold. Judging by the images, this looks to be a new figure drawing more from the Masterpiece version. I love it. As time has gone on, Masterpiece prices have shot up and kind of priced me out of it, but when they do stuff like this, it makes these characters more accessible.

Look for Ultra Magnus to arrive this Fall retailing for $99.99. For what is essentially a slightly scaled down Masterpiece figure, that is relatively reasonable.
