I love Transformers. Besides Marvel Legends, the Masterpiece line is one of my favorites. Like most 80’s kids I grew up watching the original series and love the original bots that landed on Earth. Prowl is one of the best.

Takara is rereleasing the cop bot with all new animation inspired detailing that gives it a more cartoon accurate look. If you have the original there isn’t much to warrant a purchase if you have the original release other than an additional shoulder cannon.

This release is for those who missed out on the original release. The animation accurate detailing just helps to distinguish it from from the original. If you have the old one this is an easy pass unless you are a completionist. MP-17+ Prowl is now up for preorder on Entertainment Earth.
